Topic	trying to jump my car with a portable car starter...but there's no power button

Gases tend to collect at the positive post and can ignite if you take the red off first. So long as the two connectors never touch, they don't touch metal, and you don't connect them backwards you'll be fine. Success! Got my car started. Thank you guys.
