I'm not trying to be hateful or sarcastic. Even if you're not American. If you really want to know why it isn't over take some time and look at those periods in American history. These events are just another part of those. Same with the civil rights movement. We keep deciding to try and heal the divide by extending our hand in forgiveness, and then act surprised when the snake bites us again.
