Yep, figured. Pays to not get hopes up. They did just fine with the first payment though.

The reasoning is that when you pay the prep fees via your tax return, they open a temporary bank account to deposit your refund into your actual bank with, those accounts were still open during first stimulus, but are now closed(they do it for security). So the payments are rejecting and going back to the irs, and they won't be issuing checks if it does this. The irs has outright said you have to claim it on your taxes.

This onyl applies if the the where's my payment tool says no info available for the second payment.
