ELSE & POKI THE SHARK - SUPERNOVA: i can't decide if i actually liked this myself or not now lol. when it premiered it was like the best song they'd done by far but then i kinda turned on it. by the time nominations happened i ended up kinda digging it again but since then it's just been like, eh, i wonder if i should've bothered including this one. expected it to do better but now it almost feels too high lol at least i can say i enjoy their songs a lot more than i enjoy their streams, else sounds basically entirely different in those and definitely not in a good way Raetsel_Lapin posted... 216: MEMEX - BREATHING TRIGGER: still no link on this unfortunately. apparently another song from that album is getting a music video release soon(ish) though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9haT5ygsYdo. memex music is like the one thing i just totally failed to get you interested in, and i put this into my noms knowing that, so the sub-7 rating is unfortunate but i'll take it Raetsel_Lapin posted... 215: SOMUNIA - BACKWORD: definitely didn't do quite as good with this somunia song as the one i picked last year... originally i was actually going to pick that one virtual cat remix (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NSknHFLuEA) before i realised i'd already picked it near the end of the bonus topic last time, and backword... honestly, i liked it, but i never really paid any attention to the actual music in it so this is definitely more than i could've really hoped for it. i still think that somunia was generally doing pretty great around this period in mid-2020 though, like until then houkago no dance floor was the only song of hers i liked really... Raetsel_Lapin posted... 205 [TIE]: RYUSHEN - YOAKE MADE: granted, maybe the virtual cat remix wouldn't have done very differently judging from where this has landed. i consider this a very similar song to that (especially thematically), and the visuals really complement its chill, slightly melancholic city pop vibe... if there was any song i was hoping and thought had a realistic chance at a high score in my set, it was this but yeah besides this honestly i was kinda expecting to get wiped out by the 7/10s ~~which i guess is still technically possible as long as more 9s can be added on~~ with this much more limited set than what i had last time. pretty glad to especially see some of my more risky picks still going. like a certain bear guitarist's song, i expected that out in like the 30s because it's so extremely rough <cite>UF8 posted [p:949107627] in Raetsel ra...
