Just because he did other awful stuff doesn't make Jackson's glib criticisms any less true >_> Pretty sure Sniper wasn't praising the life and times of Andrew Jackson by endorsing a single solitary sentiment (and one completely divorced from the areas people usually criticize) that many of your heroes might agree with.

Jackson's "solutions" to the admittedly genuine corruption in the banking system was to abolish the federal banks in favor of state banks helmed by his lackeys. He replaced one form of corruption w/ his own and his actions were the main impetus of the depression that followed shortly after he left office.
Even on that issue, he has no standing.
And even aside from that, plenty of people have dunked on the banking system over the years who have less "problematic" lives (at the very least, they were never responsible for something like the Trail of Tears...not a high ethical bar....) that he could've chosen to use a quote from. So yeah, until clarified otherwise, I have to assume he admires Jackson at least somewhat and jokingly trying to "provoke" him out of hibernation to "defend" Jackson makes sense.
