Yeah the area itself is pretty much the most hostile general area released in the game thus far so you'll probably have a rough go at it until you at least get a stronger fire DPS; also especially with the Abyss Mages since their shields take forever to whittle down outside of a series of strong elemental burst reactions (Water ones especially are still kinda a pain for me because I can't be bothered to build Kaeya lol). I did kinda just stumble into the trio of Abyss Mages around the Princess Box and took them out quickly enough but not before getting into frosbite status, though the actual periodic damage from frostbite doesn't seem too bad if you have a lot of healing at least, or maybe it's because my main party is already over L70

Keep in mind not to ascend too fast either, after a point there's a rather noticeable difficulty jump where enemies start to require better equipment loadouts to keep up; I'd say that point is around World Rank 4.

Well mostly you'd pair the cages with Specter S2 for max stall while you fire off your biggest burst DPS but even then it's definitely a bit tricky to pull off. It's also possible to put down two cages in advance but the first cage will be on low HP by the time the second drops.

Probably the one really good thing I can say about Genshin's gacha is the banner guarantee for every second 5-star you pull on the seasonal banner lol
On that note I've also pulled Keqing as my second 5-star from the standard banner, but while she seems actually decently fun I really need a good set of artifacts for her to get her up to par with the rest of my main party, and I'm pretty much all out, which means more random Elite mob grinding

getting Xiangling helped in general, it's nice having a non-meme Pyro character though she's kind of terrible at lighting torches because her bear will sometimes just decide to face another direction. For whatever reason it seemed to get better after making this post, I haven't run into many more bosses away from torches and the ones that did had the decency to not magically regenerate all of their health. The area around the peak was pretty neat too.

also I'd kind of forgotten about food buffs when doing the time-limited fight, that made it a lot easier

The game did start giving out ways of helping with the cold, but they only really become accessible after you've been exploring for awhile (especially the one that requires 40 Agate) so it doesn't make much of a difference in practice.

I kinda want to get my AR high quickly since it seems to lock a lot of stuff but idk, I also don't want to play too much before I get Ganyu lol

And yeah, the lack of a consistent pity system is one thing I really dislike about Arknights. I think I ended up rolling 70-some times on Blaze and 100-some times on Bagpipe and failed to get either. At least I'm about as prepared as I can be for Weedy/W, I had about 150 rolls last time I checked.

Future banners are weird, Surtr/Thorns look pretty strong but I don't really want them from a character standpoint, Blemishine is cute but doesn't look that relevant, Eunuctus/Mountain are w/e, and Rosmontis/Mudrock look great and I definitely want them but I guess that's to be expected of limited banners.
