re Genshin, I have mixed feelings on Dragonspire. The cold element is a pretty neat idea and adds an extra element to exploration...but it also has a nasty habit of placing bosses or minibosses away from heat sources, and then making them regenerate their entire health bar and shield when you go away to defrost yourself, this has happened a couple of times now. Some of the puzzles are really obtuse too, I got stuck on one only to realize that there was a wall you had to bomb with Amber. Also apparently I've barely made much progress on the actual event itself, despite spending like probably 4-5 hours in the area.

Still not sure how I'm supposed to get the Princess's Box, idk if I can burst through 3 Abyss Mages in 60 seconds while taking a bunch of cold damage.

I actually got Xiangling first from pulling on the first released banner lol, though i did use her a fair bit before actually getting her drop from Spiral. That being said getting up to where you can comfortably beat that Abyss level shouldn't take too long either.

Don't forget to also use her cage lures if you're going to trigger a few at once, they'll last pretty long under her S3
I think most of the time I ended up picking them off one at a time, including in the mini-annihilation map

Amusingly this event was supposed to be before Twilight, which was generally regarded as the hardest event released thus far
On the other hand from what I've seen the the events coming after are toned down a fair bit in terms of difficulty so there's that

Yeah it's kinda grindy for an action RPG lol, which is I guess fine if you want a main game but not being able to just autopilot the dailies has kinda made me ease up on playing aside from peeking in when a new event drops

yeah, I'm getting the uncaps to lv 50 done, just need a couple day-restricted items for weapons now, then I'll give Abyss another shot. Though I've heard she may be on Ganyu's banner so I have a decent chance of rolling her there.

Nightingale's cage lures sort of help, though the super mages hit two targets so at least one character is still getting hit. I've been using s2 since most of the stages are based on luring out the mages one at a time, using a burst skill like her s3 usually doesn't work (it won't save you from 4+ mages at once).

Mostly though I just want my Weedy/W banner already. I haven't pulled a new character worth using in quite literally months, I've just been building up a huge stockpile of most resources without being able to spend them on anything.
