Another thing, if I decided to marry this single mom for whatever reason while not wanting children, and, god forbid, something happens to her like possible death, who do you think will be responsible for that child? That will fall on my lap. I mean, Im pretty sure it will fall on my lap by law.

If I dont want children, that is a legitimate risk Im not willing to take. Its not a shot at the mom. She can be amazing. However, Im still protecting myself and my self interests

That is fair, personally I like kids (much of my work life has involved childcare/teaching), so a woman having children has never been a negative thing in my eyes.
