Fair enough. However, here is my concern. I dont want kids. Sure I can date a single mom however, there is a clear risk because the child is already present. If Im looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with then its clear the child will be involved. There is no way around that.

Another thing, if I decided to marry this single mom for whatever reason while not wanting children, and, god forbid, something happens to her like possible death, who do you think will be responsible for that child? That will fall on my lap. I mean, Im pretty sure it will fall on my lap by law.

If I dont want children, that is a legitimate risk Im not willing to take. Its not a shot at the mom. She can be amazing. However, Im still protecting myself and my self interests
