Why are we basing western philosophy/religion on things based in the middle east instead of celtism, druidism, Norse mythology, Greek Mythology, or native american beliefs and traditions?
Because most western Eurocentric religion/philosophy (and others such as Celtic, Norse, Druid) are either heavily influenced or entirely based off the Greco-Roman era of religion and philosophy.

In the Gregorian western calendar we use today, our days of the week (with the exception of Saturday, named after Roman god Saturn or Greek titan Cronus) are named after Nordic gods and our months (with the exception of July/August named after the Caesars and Sept-Dec symbolizing different numbers and geometric shapes) are named after Roman gods. Both of those societies borrowed their gods from the Greeks. And then obviously, the Greeks got their gods from Mesopotamia in the Middle East.
