Are you saying that it's impossible to have things like civilized society, technology or education without believing in a higher power that exists outside of your own immediate being?
No. Religion was the start of trying to explain and understand things, which leads to understanding how things grow, which leads to every other discovery. No one particular religion or anything just you know the concept of it. Think of it like how Alchemy is to chemistry, religion is to science. If you get me...like none of us would have the frame work for any of the questions in this topic without that early primitive attempt at understanding.
