Ehh its better than eastern anything when it comes to mental and physical health. Good luck with that excess of wood in your spleen, snort these bull testicals it will cure your cancer and histroncics.
It's not just about medical practices or beliefs, but in the manner of fundamental thinking that goes into our very existence, not just from a philosophical level but to various degrees of branches of sciences, such as physics and metaphysics. Western psychology teaches you concepts and ideas, such as: there must always be a form of opposition in order to achieve growth and development and become a more worthy challenger; that medical treatment and result of an illness is prioritized more than the longevity factor and prevention of an illness in the first place; that good cannot exist without evil being equally present; that something that artificially exists outside of our being (money, God/religion, material objects in the form of cars, houses, etc) is supposed to make our lives better; that we are taught to eat for indulgence and pleasure instead of our individual health and nutrition; that everything that exists is separate and you are obligated to "identify as" or "choose a side", when in reality everything is all interconnected at the atomic level through the fundamental forces of the universe (space, time, gravity, electromagnetism [light + sound], etc.) and expressed in different physical forms.

The only true enemy we ultimately have is ourselves, because in order to have an enemy, they need to be on your own psychological and mental level of thinking.
