Last night I decided to give Bomb Mans stage a try first. Its actually not too hard Id say its the second easiest stage in the game. Most noteworthy bits: Ive taken to calling those enemies not bullet bills insert ginormous wink. I still dont know their proper names and I kind of dont want to know. And those Sniper Joes are no joke, but the rest of the level is easy enough that they can basically be dodged/ignored with minimal consequence.

I really dug the music for this stage, and the last vertical stretch with Octopus Batteries was a cool take on the boss corridor. I really thought Cut Mans weapon would work best, as in cutting a bomb wire to defuse it or something. This was the first indication of something that became obvious to me later: Im terrible at predicting which power a robot master will be weak to. Fortunately, Bomb Man wasnt hard and I avoided his manic jumping long enough to make quick work of him on the first try I started with full health (second overall).
