For there to be a conspiracy to get Trump out of office regardless of the vote, there would have to be so many people of both parties in on it that you might as well just draw the conclusion that lots of people wanted Trump out of office. Donald Trump never won a presidential election on his own merits. He was just there at the right place at the right time in 2016, and it turns out 2020 isn't 2016.
