Should a person be blamed for someone else's action in the past?


For instance would you hate the son of the father you had serious beef with from the past, and possibly still do, even if they weren't even around, or had nothing to do with it?

Some of my family members hate Japan for the invasion of Korea/China many years ago, even though they weren't even born yet, and the people who have committed those sins are long gone. Similar situations like that. Are those hate justified?
