While I can agree these microtransactions are predatory and you shouldnt be able to spend that much on a game, it fucking blows my mind that a few people are trying to absolve the parents of any responsibility here. Like if I make an in-app purchase I have to use my thumb print to confirm, AND I get an app notification any time my credit card is used, AND I scan my CC bill every time I pay it. Any one of these three basic ass things any functioning adult should do could have prevented this, or at the very least caught it well before it snowballed into 16K of debt.
