I am a longtime tennis fan, so I was there for all the hype over her. It's not hate it's more like baffling to justify all the attention put on her back when she was playing, especially since she didn't win jack. Sharapova especially got compared to her a lot and I was like what. And I'm no Sharapova fan by any stretch. Not saying you can't like people for being just pretty, I mean let's be real that's the only reason a lot of guys even watch women's tennis, since they only take the men's game seriously. Point is there's any number of random eastern European blondes on tour you can pick out that look better than Kournikova and haven't done much either. But she blew up and they didn't.
