Kirby's and Snake's feats wouldn't even matter that much since Sonic, Sephiroth, and Cloud all got their revenge in subsequent contests (though yeah Snake beat Sephiroth fairly in 2010, but at this point that might say about as much about Sephiroth as about Snake).
