I honestly thought those warnings were like hot sauce and they put that shit on everything.

It's one of those things that every game/movie does it to protect themselves from liability, so even as an epileptic you tend to tune it out because you were always fine before. So when there's an especially egregious example, there's nothing to differentiate it from everything else. Like the newest star wars for example, I completely disregarded the warnings because I've seen 8 other sw movies no problem, but then I spent half the movie with my hands over my eyes. Although apparently that was for the best, considering.

Hey, BADog, so it can happen without looking at flashing lights? You said it can happen anywhere, anytime, but I thought something had to trigger it, no?(they unfortunately didn't cover epileptics or seizures at all in medic training, since epileptics aren't allowed in the military)

Lots of things can be triggers for seizures. Low blood sugar, alcohol or drugs, lack of sleep, dehydration, over exertion. Essentially it's about 'lowering your threshold'. When you are rested, medicated, hydrated, feeling 100%, your threshold is as high as it can be. Any one of those things can lower your threshold for having a seizure. So you really have to take care of yourself. It's also one reason cbd is so effective, because cbd promotes homeostasis.
