its more of a Walmart thing

there is very much an attitude at Walmart to just put shit on the shelves no matter what it is because people are going to buy it. It doesnt even make sense sometimes but if you put it on a shelf someone is gonna walk out with it within a few days

despite that sometimes old stuff builds up in the back of stores because employees arent sure what to do with it, but periodically a manager will insist that everything should go out to fill shelves, and since a lot of that stuff pretty much fell through the cracks and has been forgotten, it has an old outdated price

now if someone used their head they would discount an item like this down to $5 or something, but most of the workers dont give a fuck and no one expects them to
