| Wetterdew 12/09/20 2:05:25 PM #10: | Youtube algorithm rewards shit content like that, but when they tried to launch themselves as a genuine streaming service that people should subscribe to, in the same arena as companies like Netflix, they found nobody wants to pay for a subscription when your content is THAT. They should reevaluate what kind of content they want to promote. It can get views and ad money but I think in the long run shaping their site to promote that kind of content isn't the best option for them. And if you're a youtuber, you can either put a lot of effort into making good videos that won't earn as much, or you can make crappy daily videos and make exponentially more money. Dunkey's experiment shows dramatically that youtubers who make lots of money are often making their videos crappy intentionally because of certain tricks that can generate them a lot more money --- Talking about video games? it's ok to just disagree with each other on the internet.
