Thats a good way to get sued. Any C&D would be worded in such a way that any replacement tournament run by the same person would be in defiance of that order. Also, cease and desist orders are a courtesy that is not required before a lawsuit, so if he were to keep doing that they would just skip the C&D entirely.

All that said, any interference from Nintendo is unlikely, unless he keeps goading them intentionally. I suspect any random Slippi tournament would be totally fine as long as theyre not events directly sponsored by Nintendo
