You literally said multiple times you use CAD and were training in it and were sick of your manager making you do things since you can do more

you must be thinking of someone else or making things up...because i never said any of that

there's nothing wrong with using CAD....my job simply doesn't use it. i think about 10% of the jobs at my agency use it, and they are actually elite/coveted positions because our agency does so little design work

if you go to lower levels of engineering, they use it a lot. my friend designs storm drains for a living and uses it daily. but that's p fucking boring

i do advanced planning to mitigate the effects of natural disasters...no idea how CAD could be implemented into that
