pinky how are you guys doing over in scotland(?). Is it pretty controlled, can you guys go out and about with more confidence than over here in the US?

We had a nasty rise in cases over the last month but things are settling down. It's worse in England than in Scotland, for various reasons.

We have a tiered lockdown approach here. Basically each county gets put into a tier 0-4 depending on how bad coronavirus is there. The tier reflects what you need to do. We're sort of simmering at 2-3 at the moment, meaning we can go out for shops and work if essential, but pubs and restaurants have a 6pm curfew with no alcohol served with meals (in tier 3).

Everyone wears masks, at least here in edinburgh. People socially distance, supermarkets have counts going on to limit how many people are allowed inside. Most people are working from home if able, myself included.

In summary, most people take it seriously but we (we meaning UK) have not dealt with it well comparative to some other european countries.
