the watermelon thing started with what you described. then later in a different topic (about stripey's parents being racist), you said posting a picture of a watermelon is "a lot tamer than what stripey's parents said" and that if the poster of the joke (fchamp) deserved to get publicy shamed over what he did, "stripey's parents should as well." this is what SEP was referring to when he said that you "unretracted" your argument in post #61 (kinda presumptuous to say based on what was actually there, sure, but he wasn't pulling his claim out of his ass either). in response to this, you said "Basically my arguments with board 8 are like supreme court arguments, I need to find someone who is palletable to defend," which... kind of makes it sound like you WOULD defend the joke, you just didn't because fchamp wasn't "palletable to defend"??

if you wouldn't defend the joke under any circumstances, it's all good, but you worded your point pretty confusingly then.
