The highest group in christianity contains the Seraphs, the Cherubim and the Thrones, all of which are directly involved with God and the Throne of God himself. It's also further confusing that some make a distinction between what actually IS an archangel, as well as saying capitalization matters. So the hierarchy isn't really a rank just a organization of functions? And the difference in capitalization is what differentiates (A)rchangel Michael(prince of all angels) and (a)rchangels?
