Topic	Why are archangels considered greatest but ranked lowest in angel hierarchy?

Also, archangels are not the lowest ranked - they are in the lowest choir/group, which is a fundamental difference. The highest group in christianity contains the Seraphs, the Cherubim and the Thrones, all of which are directly involved with God and the Throne of God himself.
