Can a trans person here tell me the proper way to refer to Elliot's past work? In Juno, Elliot was nominated for Best Actress and was credited as Ellen. When referring to past work such as that, do I say "she is good in this movie" or "he is good in this movie"? I know the character would still be considered a "she" since it's a work of fiction. Just not sure how describing the actor's past work in a present tense works.

always use current name and pronouns, even when referencing past events. context will generally explain the rest. edit: unless specifically told otherwise by the individual in question. such a request is unusual, but not completely unheard of.
