Trump's base is the same group that McCain tried to appeal to w/ picking Sarah Palin, and they seemed to like her just fine. People drastically overstate the gulf between Republicans and women, at least white women. Here's some sobering truth: Trump INCREASED his share of the white female vote this election. And it was in the low 40% range in 2016, too. White women eat up his rhetoric just as much as white men, and the far-right are fine w/ voting for a femal candidate if they want to sleep w/ her. How many Conways, McEnamy's (spelling?), Huckabee Sanders, etc...
