Either Ogre Battle 64, Pokemon BW, or Dragon Quest 9.

Ogre Battle MOTBQ and Tactics Ogre were/are two of my favorite games ever. I was a ps1 fanboy, and I literally bought a Nintendo 64 ONLY to play Ogre Battle 64 and basically sold it right afterwards.

When I was a kid I refused to play Pokemon because of its popularity. As an adult, my friends convinced me to get excited about Pokemon Black and play it with all of them. It was my first Pokemon game, and after playing Black I immediately went back and played all the previous generations.

Dragon Warrior 3 was my first JRPG I ever played on Nesticle. A friend of mine years later had an actual cartridge copy that I would always borrow from him. When Dragon Quest 9 came out I got super excited, because I knew it had a class system (the main reason I didn't play Dragon Quest 8). I literally bought a used DS mainly to get Dragon Quest 9 when it came out. I used to go to all the events, too -- and when my parents' internet didn't work, I'd leech wi-fi from restaurants to get the special visitor equipment every couple days or whatever. I'd literally be sitting outside of Chilis or whatever, on the pavement, playing all the online content like a weirdo.
