Honestly I prefer having cables. I can slide the cable under my shirt or something and just let the earphones dangle when they aren't in use, and being connected to my phone still means it won't fall off or anything while I'm out and about. It doesn't happen all the time, of course, but that's at least the theory behind it. Heck, companies like Walmart are well known for being successful by sacrificing quality for a lower price. But it isn't like we don't see it still. If you want the best smartphone around, the new iPhone whatever is going to be a clear contender, or how the Apple Watch is easily the best smartwatch (Which Apple ruins with the caveat of "only works with an iPhone") Capitalism is breeding innovation and the best products around for Apple and the iPhone/Apple Watch/whatever, but its also stimulating anti consumer practices and other terrible things in order to keep their spot at the top of the hill. ...
