Gender correction hormones and therapy seem to reduce suicide for those suffering gender dysphoria, so that looks like a good thing outcome wise. Two spirit and other non-binary-conforming genders have existed throughout history. As for concerns about confusion or irreversible decisions at a young age, I've discussed this with my partner regarding if one of our children expresses gender dysphoria and we both came to the conclusion that we know very little so would have an expert involved who knows more than us and do our most for support. Live and let live I think is the main attitude I have. Try to be understanding. It doesn't affect me, so just try to understand and hope people can live their best life.
