The way it's perceived to the general userbase can determine whether something is considered trolling, or not. "But it's just my opinion" is therefore never really a good defense." Roughly translated, this means that you'll get punished/warned/banned for 'trolling' if enough people report you and accuse you of trolling. It doesn't matter if you're genuinely trying to make a point or defend your beliefs. If you get reported, mods will treat you as if you're trolling.
