It's just the idea of getting a second degree or master's or something and being that much further away from a career and making good money. I'd really, really like to just find a good job now and not worry about it.

I made the dumbass mistake of majoring in English, though. I've always enjoyed writing, and I thought I could find a solid job in either journalism or something like copywriting. I've had no luck getting my foot in the door beyond low paying freelance work, though, and it's setting in that my degree is utterly valueless. I feel like I'm not going to have any luck without just going back and switching tracks entirely, at this point.
