Kamek raises many good points. However, I feel he is missing some of the larger implications here. This isn't just some match. Nor is it just some match featuring Hulk Hogan. This is the match. The match for all of the marbles, the final, Ultimate Showdown between Good and Evil. And what would be better for ratings than for Hulk to lose? Because, although this is the end, of course this isn't the end. There's also one more feat, one last chance for the heroes to emerge victorious. Every Infinity War has an Endgame, so to speak.

Hulk is the favorite. Nobody can beat Hulk. Everybody wants Hulk to win. Of course Hulk will win. That's why he can't win. All of the non-Americans will job to him... except one. One forgotten by most, stewing in his resentment in the dustbin of history, a second-tier dictator, the tertiary ally of Adolf Hitler. Mussolini was the first fascist, the founder of the movement, and a big player in his day. Washed up now, he sees one last chance for glory. When Hulk has suplexed the rest of the competition, he will be blindsided by a general he forgot was an opponent. Everybody will see their hero crushed as the enabler of history's greatest tyrant grasps power one last time. Not the Ultimate Heel, but the Ur-Heel.

Hulk will be defeated by the antithesis of American ideals so that America can, in the end, decisively triumph against fascists and the Axis

Benito Mussolini
