Fuck it, I'll humor the topic.

I'd say a good sign of being a good person is when you choose to encourage something where you miss out for someone else's gain. More so, if no one even knows you did anything. Because the latter proves there's no alternative motive, you don't even get to feed off praise or acknowledgement. It's just you accepting the raw end because you wanted someone else to be happy. Then again, I could also say you're still doing it for the peace of mind you get from it. But maybe you have to be a good person for it to transfer into peace of mind in the first place. Maybe the difference is that a bad person wouldn't get that peace of mind, they'd just feel cheated.
