unless, of course, a competent immediate response kept it from spreading in the first place. which seems unlikely with the results from everywhere else, but isn't theoretically impossible.

You gotta keep in mind that there's no cult in this universe. There is no 3 years of somebody telling people to do the exact opposite of what democrats say, even if it goes against their countries best interest.
