| Fluttershy 11/10/20 9:18:09 PM #38: | the only answer i can really think of is to shut down their bullshit each and every time they post it outside of their perler echo chambers. you can't go into one and start spewing truth; they'll likely ban you for it, and it's probably a lost cause to think you can turn anyone on to the real world in such a place. they have defense after defense set up; they'll censor you for making points. they'll call you an intellectualist for making points that are otherwise irrefutable or immutable. take them seriously, and be especially wary of the ones who don't want you to. don't avoid conflict. manipulative types know you want to. they treat this stuff like a game where they've convinced themselves that the other team has been cheating so the only way to pull even is to follow suit. Show kindness to everyone, otherwise you are no better than they are. to be clear, i agree, and i think engaging them and undertaking the tall task of refuting the ideas they've been fed is an act of kindness. there's an index of creationist arguments that has been on the internet for a while: http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/list.html there should be something like this, but for alt-right ideas. --- ...
