The people's part in this is indeed done, but there's still the electoral and delegation voting that we don't really get a say in. Remember all the scenarios that had been come up with four years ago concerning the chance for someone other than Trump being made President, and now consider all those same reasons for his being re-elected. Our part is done, though we await a run-off in Georgia for a couple Senate seats, but this thing is not over for the next couple months. Dr_Kain posted... What does a bible have to do with anything? It's just a book. It's the go-to book Americans swear upon, even though no law says it must be the Bible. If I were either elected to Presidency, or called in to testify as a witness for some court case, I might swear upon the Poetic Edda. The Bible, for so many Americans, is more than just a book. Dr_Kain posted... Trump ain't going to prison. He's white and rich. He's above the law. Not rich, and assuming all goes well with the remainder of the electoral process, he will not be above the law either. In fact, so many of his allies in high places will either be gone themselves, or else turning away because Trump is no longer of use to them.
