All Biden had to do was win Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania (which all lean blue) and that's the election. This applies to future Democratic candidates as well unless something changes demographically in those states. Basically the likely blue states have a greater population and therefore a greater electoral value than likely red states.
