Topic | Whole Foods grocery chain bans employees from wearing poppies |

Yeah, I really don't have a problem with a business saying no supporting causes at work.I dunno if either of you guys are canadian but at least around here I would say not wearing one is way more of voicing some sort of cause/agenda than wearing one is. It's not like something only big military fanatics do, it's everywhere. people at work, people out shopping or whatever, kids at school, etc etc. I almost feel like if you see a random person they're more likely to be wearing one than not. I don't mean to make light of remembrance day with this comparison or anything but my instinctive reaction to seeing this being forbidden is kinda the same as if a store said you can't have pumpkin themed decorations around halloween because they don't want to support a cause. I'd just go: "...........what????" --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!! THERES SO MUCH PEOPLE READING AND POSTING STUIPED STUFF ... Copied to Clipboard! |
