Democrats can't rely on being lucky, they can and must do better than Biden in the future. No if Trump takes the pandemic even remotely seriously his base disowns him. His dancing around the pandemic reeks of PR stunts. I do think Biden may have underestimated Trump's reach with "everyday" folks, but other than a massive surge of votes on election day Trump has looked bad this whole election cycle.
