Biden got republicans to come out to vote out Trump, but downballot voted GOP. If the Biden strategy is continued his entire administration will be as neutered as Obama after the mid terms, at best. There are huge swaths of the population who don't vote because they don't think the government will do anything for them, and demonstrably doing nothing for them and not even pretending to run on doing anything for them is how you get a country where people only vote on cultural issues, and when your government system favors smaller rural states, right wingers will win big if it is always about culture wars. ...
