| FortuneCookie 11/04/20 9:22:58 PM #35: | A lot of people are Democrats so they can feel smug and superior. Conversely, a lot of people are Republicans so they can be bigoted (i.e. feel superior). Basically, politics appeal to the worst kinds of people. And, yes, I know being a jackass to everyone is not as bad as literally seeing other people as less than oneself.
