I can take 25mg of melatonin and still take 2 hours to fall asleep and then wake up 3 hours later I'm no pill veterinarian but my understanding of melatonin is that it's supposed to keep you asleep for longer, not make you sleep. So that shit probably goes through your system while you're awake still.
