Kinda of pointless to focus on with the 20 other charges. Alone, it's doubtful he'd ever have faced the full sentence of that had that been his only crime, though it'd be hard to ever kill a police dog without facing other charges. That's a case where it's good that he had any and all charges put against him to the maximum possible extent because he's clearly a fucked up individual who shouldn't be on the streets.
