That's fine in general if you have a podcast, but it is not fine when you bring in conspiracy theorists who jabber on about scientific nonsense. I don't think it even requires a scientific education to understand that it's disingenuous highlight an anomalous incident and prop that up as the entire argument. We see this a lot with the climate change debate. It was the coldest day on record in X county today, how can global warming be real? Or "scientists were wrong about the precise level of snowfall in this one region, how can anything be real?" So yeah that's the problem to me.
