Ahhh fuck, might have popped the champagne early. HCG test on Tuesday at our regular doctor was 148. Test done at the OB yesterday was 142.

OB said if those numbers are accurate it's most likely a miscarriage. But also said different labs run the same tests in different ways, so we're going to have another test run by the first lab and see if it increases.

Did some googling and found a lot of posts where that's exactly what happened and everything was fine. So gonna stay positive but fuck that was a rough couple of hours.

Im so sorry for the roller coaster. Ive read the same thing about labs being different about those hcg tests. I hope the next beta numbers doubled appropriately

Has your wife been tracking home pregnancy tests? Are the lines darkening?

I had a chemical pregnancy a couple of years ago after trying for a while so I know how devastating that feels. Hoping for the best for you two.
