There are 4 areas within the game and a boss at the end of each one. Multiple things to unlock and upgrade that carry over to each new play through. Once you've beaten the final boss, you can increase the difficulty multiple times over to earn more rewards, unlock more story, and face enemies/bosses with new tactics. --- ...
