Early Wednesday morning from around 4:40 to 5:40 am is going to be the best time to witness it, but meteors will be visible in the sky much of the upcoming week after 11:30 PM EST. If you haven't witnessed a "shooting star" with your own eyes before, go outside late Tuesday night in a dark area with clear skies, and observe the sky for a few minutes. This is one of the most active meteor showers, and with a bit of patience, you should easily see multiple this week.
